Freida Pinto- a 24 year-old Mumbai girl ofMangalorean descent living in suburban Malad. She still shares a two bedroom flat with her parents& elder sister. Her mother is a school principal & father is a bank manager. An alumnus of carmel of st Joseph school in Malad & an Eng literature gradute from st Xavier's College, Pinto like millions of Indian girls-harboured childhood dreams of becoming an actor.
