The third season of NBC's "Heroes" kicks off with a three-hour premiere Monday, and Dominican actress Dania Ramírez is set to prove that her character, Maya , is a hero too. After last season's critiques of a character that seemed to cry more than be heroic, Ramírez says that this season, Maya will represent and show her heroism. Newly introduced to the cast in the second season after a high-ratings first season, Ramírez felt Maya wasn't able to show all she was since half the season was cut due to the writers' strike.
